Background. The author analyzed the results of main directions of the regional economic policy, defined by the Agreement on social partnership between the Government of the Penza region, the Federation of trade unions of the Penza region and the employers ' associations of the Penza region for 2012-2014.
Materials and methods. Realization of the research tasks was achieved by comparing the main economic indicators of the region for 2013 and 2014.
Results. The author identified a positive dynamics in many areas of economic activity.
Conclusions. The study of this problem contributes to further development of the social partnership in the region in coordination and adjustment, depending on changes of the general economic situation.
